How to Create Your Artist Profile

Our artist profile page is a great way to tell visitors more about yourself. So, please take a few minutes to update your user profile before you begin posting lessons. Here's whats included in the artist profile section. You can view or edit your profile page at any time by clicking on the links in the 'Edit My Profile' under the 'My Account' tab.

Edit My Profile

 Here's what these form fields mean and where they're used on the site

1. Email: This is used for your account login, and is also where any messages from site visitors or administrators will be sent. This will not be displayed on the site, to prevent spamming.
2. First Name and Last Name: These are used only for administrative reference
3. Display Name: This will be used wherever your name is displayed on the site (next to all your lessons and products, on your artist profile page, etc)
4. Language: Your preferred language for viewing the site or entering content. Note that all of our content is translated by computer and stored in the database in English, so translations may not be perfect but this system does allow the site to be accessible to more users. 
5. Profile Image: This image will be displayed in a small size on the sidebar column on all of your lesson and product pages, and in a larger size on your artist profile page
6. Profile Short: This is displayed in the sidebar (right side of the page) for all your lesson and product pages, along with a link to your full profile page. This will also be displayed on the 'List Artists' page under lessons.
7. Profile Long: This is your full profile description - whatever you want to say about yourself - that will be displayed on your artist profile page.

Edit My Links

 This section allows you to create web links to link to your other websites from your artist profile page. These links will be displayed beneath the above profile information on your artist profile page. Free members can have two links, and premium members can have unlimited links.

Edit My Images

This section allows you to upload some examples of your artwork. These images will be displayed underneath the profile and links on your profile page, in a thumbnail format with links to the larger images. Free members can have three portfolio images, and premium members can have unlimited images.

Lessons, Products, Workshops, and Calendar Events

Your artist profile page will automatically list all of your lessons, products, and calendar events also. (Products and Calendar Events are accessible to premium members only)
