Welcome to ArtExample.com! At ArtExample.com, we make it easier for artists to learn from, and to teach, fellow artists.
Finding and Viewing Lessons
Want to learn a new skill or technique? With an easy to use category and search interface, you can quickly find the lessons that interest you, without wading through page after page of message board posts or search engine results. We offer lessons on the fundamental concepts of art, techniques for specific media like oil painting, and tips on various subjects and styles. Just click on the 'View Lessons' tab to get started, or type a few words into the search box.
When you find a lesson that interests you, you can quickly see what other lessons that artist has to offer, as well as their books, videos, and workshops - just click on the artist's name on the lesson page. Or, click on the category links at the top of the page to see other lessons in the same category.
And, you can sign up for our newsletter to be receive a list of new lessons in your email every morning
Suggest a Topic
Can't find what you're looking for? Just click on the Suggest a Topic button on the View Lessons page. Just submit a question, and we'll forward it to our member artists and notify you as soon as they post a reply.
Submitting Lessons and Promoting Your Products
If you're an artist who loves to teach and share your experience, ArtExample.com makes it easier to connect with other artists who want to learn from you. ArtExample.com was designed to be an easier way to find and view lessons, and a better way to promote your books, dvd's, workshops, and other instructional products.
Basic membership is free, if you'd like to post a few lessons to help out your fellow artists. Or, if you're selling instructional products you can upgrade to a premium account to take advantage of our advanced features to market your videos, books, and classes.
