Fawn McNeill is a Christian artist with over twenty years of experience. Her subjects include wildlife, animals, botanical studies, and scenic views. She paints them in many different styles. Her early works have a photo-realistic quality, while many of her new paintings are full of loose brush strokes and just enough detail to get her point across.
"I like to say my style is Realistic Impressionism. I love detail and realism, but I also love fast, loose, and bold brush strokes. I do break away and create abstracts as well, or combine abstract backgrounds with realistic subjects. Ultimately, by capturing nature I hope my work celebrates God’s creation."
A self taught artist for 17 years, Fawn recently went back to school and earned her BFA from Florida Atlantic University (2003). She has met the requirements of the state of Florida and is a certified art teacher for the public schools. She is also a member of the Daily Painters Movement, and the Plein Air Florida Painting Association.
Fawn’s work is currently on display at: Indian River Community College (Okeechobee Campus); Highlands Art League in Sebring, Florida; and Affordable Art and Framing in Okeechobee, Florida.
Fawn’s work is composed from life studies, her own sketches and photos, and/or made up from memory. They are her own original paintings and are protected by copyright law. They cannot be reproduced in any way without her written permission.
